Fans watched the Arizona Diamondbacks and the London Royals fight to the finish.

Arizona designated hitter Samuel Castillo picked up 3 ribbies while helping his team beat back the London Royals, 7-6. Dilan Lee earned the save for Arizona.

Had Michael Laman not delivered a key base hit in the top of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 2nd, Laman hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 7-6, in favor of the Diamondbacks.

"As well as we've been playing, I think we can play even better," said Arizona manager Donovan Zimmerman.

The Diamondbacks move to 65-53 with the win, while the Royals drop to 50-68.
