Oakland picked up a win at O.co Coliseum, bumping off the Chicago White Sox, 4-3. Pitcher Mickey Whitcomb was a major reason the Athletics emerged victorious. Oakland reliever Juan Canas picked up the win, upping his record to 5-2. Lawson Riccitelli took the loss. With the win, Oakland goes to 59-59, while the White Sox fall to 53-65.

Ronald Londono was the walk-off hero for Oakland. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Athletics second baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"This joint was rocking," said Londono.
