Dodgers Rally For Late Win Over Astros
Vasques Cortes had a good game, but he could not keep the Houston Astros from falling, 7-5, to the Los Angeles Dodgers at Dodger Stadium. The Houston shortstop went 3 for 4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2 in the loss. The first-place Dodgers, at 76-40, now lead their division by 2 games.

Storm Ellis was the walk-off hero for Los Angeles. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Dodgers designated hitter hit a dramatic 2-run home run to send the teams home.

"I'm glad I could get it done when the game was in the balance," Ellis said in his postgame press conference.
