Mariners Lose to Padres in Walk Off
|
Pitcher Brandon Shure was rock solid in helping the San Diego Padres beat the Seattle Mariners, 2-1. San Diego's record now stands at 43-73, placing them 5th in the Western Region Pacific Division.
Donny Nuvolari was the walk-off hero for San Diego. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Padres pinch hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"This place was rockin'," said Shure.
