The Vancouver Cascades pounded the Houston Astros, 14-1, at Minute Maid Park. Vancouver left fielder Lawrence Carla had a solid game. He went 2-4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4 for the Cascades. Vancouver starter Jake Pasqualini was credited with the win after throwing 120 pitches over 7 innings. His record now stands at 9-5.
