Black Bears Lose to Expos in Walk Off
The Montreal Expos dealt the Virginia Black Bears a 6-5 loss at Olympic Stadium. Jose Stevens was the star on offense. He was 2-3 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. Mason McKinney, now 13-2, picked up the win in relief. He allowed no runs on no hits in 2.1 innings. The third-place Expos have won 6 in a row.

C.J. Cordero was the walk-off hero for Montreal. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Expos designated hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
