The Indianapolis Ignition had to overcome a good performance from Fresno pitcher Reginald Clark to claim a 2-0 win at Savemart Center. Clark went 5 innings and allowed no runs. Indianapolis reliever Archer Knowles was the winner. His record is now 12-2. Jaden Vinson took the loss. Allan Spincic closed the door for Indianapolis, picking up his 17th save of the year.

Had Brandon Wright not delivered a key base hit in the top of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and the bases loaded, Wright hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 1-0, in favor of the Ignition.

"I love to hit," said Wright. "As long as I keep loving it, the game's going to love me back."

Indianapolis is now 58-43.
