Indians Get 8-3 Win Versus Las Vegas
Behind a fine performance from Harrison Waite, the Cleveland Indians knocked off the Las Vegas Knights, 8-3. Waite was 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 3 times for the Indians. Nick Garcia, the winner, improved to 7-6. He held the Knights to 2 runs on 5 hits over 6 innings, while striking out 7 and walking 2. P.J. Graham earned the save for Cleveland, his 4th of the year.

Cleveland used a well-timed hit by Chuck Mullenix to capture the win. The right fielder socked a 2-run double in the top of the fifth inning to put the Indians ahead, 5-2. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

In postgame remarks, Indians manager Josh Mackin praised Waite. "Iron Curtain makes my job a whole lot easier."
