Toronto Hangs 7-2 Loss on Indianapolis
|
Toronto Blue Jays starter Tyler Grosso pitched his team past the Indianapolis Ignition, 7-2. The Blue Jays improved their record to 53-47 with the win over Indianapolis.
Toronto used the stroke of Robbie Franke to get the win. The first baseman hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Blue Jays ahead, 3-1. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it did its damage.
"A confident pitcher is a dangerous thing," said Toronto manager Jaden Bishop. "That's what Tyler is right now."
