Behind the hitting of Tyler Suter, the New York Mets stopped the Minnesota Twins, 7-6, in 10 innings. Suter was 2 for 5 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3 for the Mets. The Mets improved to 41-58.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the tenth. With no one out, Suter hit a fastball from Jaycob Murray for a solo home run. The Mets, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"We battled our tails off to get this win," said New York manager Jim Cheatham.
