Blues Get Past London for 5-4 Win
Getting a good performance from second baseman Sesc Suastegui, the Memphis Blues defeated the London Royals, 5-4. Suastegui was 2 for 3 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for the Blues. The winner was Ryder Gideon in relief. His record improves to 3-2. Gio Sliwinski took the loss. The third-place Blues have a record of 49-49.

Memphis got a knockout punch from James Angel. The right fielder hammered a solo home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.
