|
Chad Pack impressed in the 7-3 Baltimore win over Chicago. Pack, who is tied for 9th in the AL with a .950 OPS, was 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 2. Jaylen Lance earned the win for Baltimore. He lasted 7 innings, allowing 3 runs on 7 hits, while striking out 6. With the win, he raised his record to 9-4. Paul McKay finished to wrap up his 11th save.
Early in the game, Pack had a 2-run home run for Baltimore. It was his 13th home run of the season and put the Orioles on top, 2-0.
"It's not about individual awards," Pack told a Baltimore News reporter after the game. "It's about winning championships. That's what we play for."
