Mets Squelch Cascades Offense in Shutout Win
The New York Mets defeated the Vancouver Cascades, 4-0, in Eastern Region action at Royal Port Stadium. New York pitcher Adam Swanson had a standout performance. The win for the Mets lifted their record to 58-39.

Gonzalo Morzaroti, the 25-year old catcher , had a direct impact on the outcome. Morzaroti contributed a run-scoring double in the top of the sixth inning to put New York up, 3-0.

"We'll grab a cold beverage tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Swanson said.
