Cincinnati Dealt 8-5 Defeat
|
The Fresno Falcons downed the Cincinnati Reds, 8-5, at Great American Ball Park. The Falcons were led by Victor Kabayao. Kabayao was 2-3 with 2 doubles and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Fresno, now 40-55, holds down 5th place in the Western Region Pacific Division.
Early in the game, Kabayao had a run-scoring double for Fresno. It was his 18th double of the season and put the Falcons on top, 1-0.
"Some of the guys in here work hard, some of the guys just kind of fall out of bed and get it done. Whatever works I guess, we won this one," Kabayao told the Fresno News.
