The New York Yankees knocked off the Philadelphia Phillies, 6-2, in National League action at Citizens Bank Park. New York pitcher and Maplewood, New Jersey, native Robert Stevenson had an outstanding performance. Stevenson got the win, improving to 6-4. He gave up 3 hits and walked 2 over 5.2 innings. Tucker Rodriguez had a big run-scoring double for the Yankees in the top of the sixth inning.
