Pitching was the name of the game in a tight contest between the Minnesota Twins and the Las Vegas Knights. Minnesota won it, 2-1. Minnesota starter Roberto Bush was in command. Murray Yallop, now 2-2, was credited with the win. He allowed no runs on no hits, while striking out 2 and walking 0. The Eastern Region Great Lakes Division-leading Twins have a record of 59-33.

Minnesota used the timely hitting of Raul Cathey to seize the win. The right fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the 11th inning to put the Twins on top, 2-1. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"The game of baseball will test you," said Christian Gibson, the Minnesota skipper. "This one tested us."
