Agner Hits 2 home runs in Phillies Win
|
The Philadelphia Phillies topped the Texas Rangers, 5-1, with left fielder Colt Agner playing a big role. Agner belted 2 home runs, while scoring 3 and driving in 2 for the Phillies in the win. Aidan Rodkey earned his 2nd save in 3 tries. Texas now has a 9-game losing streak.
In the top of the first of a scoreless game, Agner hit a solo home run to put his team ahead.
"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Agner told the Philadelphia Daily News.
