Indians Need Extra Frames to Get Past White Sox
|
Cleveland Indians starter Dusty Sloan was on his game, helping his team beat the Chicago White Sox, 5-2. The Indians, at 42-48, sit in 4th place in the Eastern Region Great Lakes Division.
Cleveland used the bat of Franklin Bailey to capture the win. The third baseman jacked a 2-run home run in the top of the tenth inning to put the Indians ahead, 4-2. It was his lone hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a dandy.
"If I go out there and help the team win, that's all you can do," said Sloan.
