Brewers Lose By a Run at Houston, 5-4
|
Houston Astros starter Julius Mueller pitched a strong game against the Milwaukee Brewers at Minute Maid Park, leading the Astros to victory, 5-4. The Astros now own a record of 57-32.
The Astros got a big at-bat from catcher Joshua Massengill. For the game, Massengill was 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the first, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 16th home run of the season gave Houston a 2-0 lead.
"Julius was able to execute his pitches," said Houston manager Norman Goguen. "Simple as that."
