Late Rally Earns Chicago 8-6 Win
|
The Chicago White Sox outlasted Oswin Camp and the Milwaukee Brewers, 8-6. Camp was impressive in the loss. The Milwaukee right fielder was 4 for 5 with a home run and 3 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. After today's action, Chicago sits at 52-37; Milwaukee slips to 50-39.
Miguel Rivera came through with a big-time hit for Chicago. The left fielder smacked a grand slam home run in the top of the ninth inning to give his team the lead, 8-6. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.
"It was a solid, all-around game for us," said Chicago manager Tristan Scoggins.
