The Boston Red Sox converted a terrific effort from starter Parker Faford into a win over the Texas Rangers at Globe Life Park in Arlington. The Red Sox won the game by a final score of 3-1. Faford got the win, improving to 4-2. He gave up 5 hits and walked 2 over 8 innings. He allowed 1 run. Sawyer Godfrey was credited with the save. "The key for me has just been attacking the zone and hitting my spots. When I'm throwing strikes and not falling behind in counts, those are the days when I pitch really good," said Faford.
