Houston Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
The Houston Astros powered past the Indianapolis Ignition, 9-8, at Minute Maid Park. Bill Thyfault slugged 2 home runs. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice, to lead the charge. The winner was Houston reliever Alexis Robles, now 1-0. The loser was Timmy Linder. Houston is now 44-43.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the tenth. With two out, Thyfault hit a fastball from Timmy Linder for a run-scoring single. The Astros, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"Our team showed some resilience," said Thyfault.
