A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Miami Marlins and Portland Hops.

The Miami Marlins picked up a win at LoanDepot Field, dropping the Portland Hops, 4-1. Fay Rowland, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2056 draft, was the difference-maker. Carter Alberti closed the game out for Miami, earning his 4th save.

Rowland allowed 1 run on 2 hits over 7 innings for Miami. With the win, the southpaw is 10-0 with an ERA of 3.55.

"I was able to get good plays made behind me," Rowland said. "And I was able to make pitches when I needed to make pitches."

By defeating Portland, the first-place Marlins improved to 58-26.
