The Minnesota Twins stopped the Memphis Blues, 5-3, at Target Field. The Twins got a big game from Luke Ormond, who was 2-4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. At 29-54, the Twins find themselves in last place in the National League Sparrow Division.

Ormond had a timely hit for Minnesota in the bottom of the sixth. With Minnesota trailing 3-2, he turned a first pitch fastball into a 2-run home run. It was his 6th home run of the season, making it 4-3, Minnesota.

"Luke was ready to go. Big day for him," said Minnesota manager Connor Sandstrom.
