The Colorado Rockies had to overcome a fine effort from Baltimore pitcher Patrick Class to grab a narrow 4-2 win at Oriole Park at Camden Yards. Class went 6 innings and allowed 1 run. The win makes Colorado 40-43.

Matthew Stephens provided a timely hit. The Colorado second baseman delivered a run-scoring triple in the top of the ninth inning to put the Rockies on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in the game, but he made it count.

"We're all about heart and hustle on this team. That's what wins ballgames," Stephens told the Colorado Times.
