Ignition Keep Streak Alive With 6-2 Win
|
Behind an impressive start by Vince Anthony, Indianapolis beat St. Louis, 6-2. The winning pitcher was Anthony, now 4-6. He tossed 5 innings of 1-hit ball, while walking 2 and fanning 4. The win elevated the Ignition to 48-34.
Though it wasn't a flawless game -- few are -- the fans who filled the stands at PepsiCo Park seemed to enjoy watching the Eastern Region action.
"We feel like we're going to win every game right now," said Indianapolis skipper Jose Gomez.
