Teodor Estevez was locked in. The right-hander led the Portland Hops to a 6-3 win against the Texas Rangers at Globe Life Park in Arlington. Randall Coles got the save, the 17th for him this season. The 5th-place Hops now have a record of 26-55.

Portland needed the clutch hitting of C.J. Furgeson to seal the deal. The first baseman swatted a grand slam home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Hops on top, 5-2. For the game, Furgeson had 1 home run and 2 singles in 5 at-bats.

"Teodor set the tone with his ability to attack the hitters," said Portland manager Nelson Espinoza.
