Portland starter Latrelle Hamilton pitched well against the Texas Rangers at The BeerGarden. The left-hander led his team to a win, 4-3, in 10 innings. Portland reliever Biff Wood picked up the win, while Peyton Montenegro took the loss for Texas. Portland is now 30-50.

The Hops got a clutch hit from left fielder Sebastian Crawford. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Hops.

"This was one of those 'not to be denied' games," said Portland field general Nelson Espinoza.
