Toronto Blue Jays starter Alfonzo Jiménez turned in an exceptional performance against the Fresno Falcons at Savemart Center, resulting in a Toronto win, 4-0. Toronto leads the Eastern Region North Division by 6½ games.
Jiménez was in the zone all game. He frustrated Fresno hitters while giving the Blue Jays 7.1 innings of quality work. Jiménez threw 101 pitches, allowing 4 hits and getting 7 punchouts.
