White Sox Suffer 7-4 Setback
The Chicago White Sox got a superb performance from pitcher Chris Baranov. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Minnesota. The Twins won the game, 7-4. Baranov threw 5.2 innings of shutout ball. Gabriel McClanahan came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The left-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits in 3 innings. His record now stands at 4-2. Minnesota is 41-36 and Chicago, with the loss, 37-40.

Minnesota used the clutch hitting of Dan Crain to capture the win. The first baseman drilled a bases-clearing double in the top of the 11th inning to give the Twins the lead, 7-4. For the game, Crain had 1 single and 1 double in 4 at-bats.

"That was your kind of game, if you like high drama," said Twins manager Connor Sandstrom.
