Nick Hodge had a good game, but he could not keep the Milwaukee Brewers from falling, 6-5, to the Texas Rangers at American Family Field. The Milwaukee designated hitter was 3-4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk in the loss. Bobby Walker picked up the save, his 10th. The Rangers saw their record improve to 23-53.

Texas used the timely hitting of Brock Boon to capture the win. The right fielder socked a 3-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Rangers ahead, 6-3. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a big one.

"Winning never gets dull," said Boon.
