The Chicago Cubs in 10 innings downed the Colorado Rockies, 8-7, at Coors Field. Jason Saeger led the way, going 3-for-5 for Chicago. Chicago is now 39-36, while Colorado is 44-31.

Chicago won the game in part because of Ethan Wolfe. The designated hitter ripped a solo home run in the top of the tenth inning to put the Cubs ahead, 8-7. For the game, Wolfe had 1 double and 1 home run in 5 at-bats.

"Took some scratching and clawing," said Wolfe. "But we got it done."
