A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Virginia Black Bears and Las Vegas Knights.

Juan Brunell powered the Virginia Black Bears to a win over the Las Vegas Knights. The final score was 8-6. The Virginia first baseman, who is tied for 3rd in the AL in home runs with 21, was a force to be reckoned with. He banged out 2 extra-base hits, including 1 home run and 1 double. Beckett Willis earned the save, his 3rd in 3 tries.

Virginia took control in the bottom of the sixth. With two out and a runner on 2nd, Colton Garner hit a run-scoring single to make it 4-3, Black Bears.

"It was offense that won us the game," said winning manager A.J. Trentman.

The Black Bears move to 37-38 with the win, while the Knights drop to 37-38.
