The Vancouver Cascades got a good effort from starter Korey Sierra in defeating the Miami Marlins at Royal Port Stadium. The final score was 6-2. Vancouver now has a record of 40-33 with the win.

Sierra gave Vancouver a solid start. The right-hander allowed no runs on 4 hits over 7 innings.
