Knights Deal Phillies 9-4 Setback
The Las Vegas Knights beat the Philadelphia Phillies, 9-4, at Big Slick's House of Hardball. The Knights got a fine performance from catcher Patrick Alvarez, who went 3 for 4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 and driving in 2. Charles Darlin got the win, improving to 6-6. He worked 6.1 innings, giving up 2 runs on 3 hits, while striking out 7 and walking 3. Las Vegas is now 27-45, Philadelphia 29-43.

Alvarez contributed in the bottom of the second. With a runner on 1st, he hit a run-scoring double. It was one at-bat among others that helped Las Vegas get the win.

"We'll grab a cold beverage tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Alvarez said.
