Though he had a terrific game, Matt Krupa could not prevent his team, the Boston Red Sox, from absorbing a loss. Chicago won the game, 11-5. Krupa was 4 for 4 with a home run and 2 doubles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Chicago is now 38-34, while Boston is 31-41.

Making an impact for Chicago was right fielder Zach Hicks. Furball drilled a 2-run double off Luther Justus in the bottom of the second. For the game, Hicks was 2-3 with a triple, a double, and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once.

"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Hicks.
