St. Louis Cardinals starter Landon Pederson turned in an exceptional performance against the Texas Rangers at Busch Stadium, resulting in a St. Louis win, 6-2. The win was credited to 25-year old right-handed pitcher Ian Poppova in relief. His record improves to 4-3. Chad Kendall took the loss. The victory gives the Cardinals a record of 41-30.

St. Louis catcher B.J. Ho helped the Cardinals go up, 3-2, in the bottom of the seventh inning. With the game tied, Ho hit a run-scoring single off Texas pitcher Chad Kendall.

"We just try to have good at-bats, whether we're winning, losing, or tied," said Ho.
