Ignition Get Thrilling 3-2 Win
The Indianapolis Ignition topped the Oakland Athletics, 3-2, in 11 innings at O.co Coliseum. The game was highlighted by the performance of Indianapolis pitcher Merv Ledlow. Demario Thompson claimed the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2 innings. His record stands at 1-1. With the win, the Ignition hiked their record to 35-34.

Indianapolis needed the clutch hitting of John Pascoe to seal the deal. The second baseman swatted a solo home run in the top of the 11th inning to put the Ignition on top, 3-2. For the game, Pascoe had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
