Otero Lifts Red Sox to 10-6 Triumph
The timely hitting of Ruben Otero helped the Boston Red Sox down the Texas Rangers, 10-6. Otero was 3 for 5 with a home run and a double, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once for the Red Sox. Boston bumps their record to 24-44 with the win.

Otero contributed a big hit, a grand slam home run, for Boston in the bottom of the sixth. With his team trailing 6-3, Otero took a fastball from Elias Lafontaine and stroked the home run to left. His 1st home run of the season allowed the Red Sox to leap in front, 7-6.

"We played hard and won," said Otero. "Sometimes, baseball really is that easy.'
