Orioles Losing Streak at 7 After Extra-Inning Loss to Angels
|
The California Angels got a magnificent performance from pitcher Daniel Abreu, who muffled the Baltimore offense en route to a tight 2-1 Angels win at Disney Stadium. Baltimore's current losing streak has reached 7 games.
California won the game in the bottom of the 12th inning. With one out and Kyle Baker on the mound for Baltimore, center fielder River Grote hit a dramatic solo home run, bringing Angels fans to their feet.
"Our team showed some resilience," said Abreu.
