Bandoh Blasts Giants, Marlins Take Game 2, 7-3
Miami left fielder Gerard Bandoh was the difference-maker for the Marlins in what turned into a shootout with the San Francisco Giants. Bandoh earned accolades after going 3-for-5 in the 7-3 Marlins win. With the victory, the Marlins moved into a 1-1 tie in the best-of-7 series.

In the bottom of the sixth, Miami third baseman Jayant Eversman had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and two out, Eversman stroked a 2-run single to left. It made the score 5-2, Miami. For the game, he went 3 for 5 with a double and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.

"Every team in baseball loses," Giants manager Miles Waterbury said. "We're in the playoffs and we still have the same guys that got us here. We'll bounce back."

The next game is set to be played for Monday, November 10th , 2059 at Oracle Park.
