SS Lininger Lights Up White Sox for 7 RBIs as Rockies Tie DCS
The Colorado Rockies knotted up the Division Championship Series at Guaranteed Rate Field, thanks in large part to second baseman Walt Lininger. Lininger belted 2 home runs. He scored 3 times and drove in 7 as he overpowered the Chicago White Sox, enabling Colorado to grab the 15-4 win and move into a 2-2 tie in the best-of-7 series.

In the top of the second, Lininger had one of his most important at-bats: a 2-run home run off Vasquez Yarur that staked the Rockies to a 2-0 lead.

"Solid performance from our side," said Rockies manager D.J. Madrid.

Game 5 is scheduled for Friday at Coors Field.
