Gallion Blasts White Sox, Mariners Take Game 1, 10-9
With center fielder Scott Gallion leading the charge, the Seattle Mariners got a road win over the Chicago White Sox, 10-9, in Game 1 of the Wild Card Series. Gallion was 3 for 5 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 at Guaranteed Rate Field to help Seattle take a 1-0 lead in the best-of-7 series.
