Mariners Heading to Regional Championship Series
D.J. Lerman said he expected the Division Championship Series to be "a battle from start to finish."

In the end, it was nothing more than a minor skirmish, as the Seattle Mariners encountered little resistance in sweeping the Colorado Rockies, to advance to the Regional Championship Series.

"It may have been a sweep, but it still was a tough series," said Lerman.

Seattle won the final game by a 6-1 count and were led in the series by Lerman, who was named MVP. On the series, he hit .438 with 0 home runs. He also drove in 2 RBI and scored 3 runs.

The Regional Championship Series matchups and schedule will be announced after the Division Championship Series finishes.
