The Taco Stand was the site of a tense game between the Yucatan Matadors and Tabasco Tacos.

The Tabasco Tacos got a stellar performance from pitcher Juan De La Rosa, who handcuffed the Yucatan offense en route to a win, 3-1, at The Taco Stand. Tabasco is now 51-45, while Yucatan is 43-53.

The Tacos got a big at-bat from first baseman Daron Brandon. For the game, Brandon was 1-3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the first, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 17th home run of the season gave Tabasco a 2-1 lead.

"I tell our guys all the time, 'Every pitch is the right pitch if you put it in the right place, you believe in it and have conviction,'" Tabasco manager Oscar Camarillo said.
