Almost There: Greensboro On Cusp of A Championship Series Triumph After 7-0 Win
The Greensboro Grasshoppers got a strong performance from pitcher Yormani López, who stymied the visiting Westside Woolly Mammoths en route to a win, 7-0, in Game 4 of the A Championship Series. The Woolly Mammoths could never get a bead on the right-handed López, who threw 6.1 innings of shutout ball. The Grasshoppers now hold a 3-1 in the best-of-7 series.

López, the Greensboro right-hander, went 6.1 innings, allowing no runs on 1 hit. He collected 7 strikeouts.

"We aren't quitting," Westside manager Ken Mouw said. "Yeah, the odds are definitely in their favor, but they've got to earn it."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at NewBridge Bank Park in Greensboro.
