3B Plato Lights Up Cascades for 5 RBIs as White Sox Extend Lead
Riding the 4-hit performance of third baseman Billy Plato, the Chicago White Sox got a road win against the Vancouver Cascades, 9-2, in Game 4 of the Wild Card Series. Plato hit 3 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring three times for the White Sox, who now lead the best-of-7 series, 3 games to 1.

Chicago used the hitting of Heath Rogers to pick up the win. The designated hitter clubbed a 2-run single in the top of the fifth inning to put the White Sox on top, 4-2. For the game, Rogers had 1 home run and 2 singles in 4 at-bats.

"They took it to us," said Vancouver manager Orlando Navarez.

Game 5 is scheduled for Monday at Guaranteed Rate Field.
