De Alba Helps Puebla Outscore Yucatan
The Puebla Mermen beat the Yucatan Matadors, 12-11, at Bull Rush Park. Pascal De Alba, in particular, was impressive. He was 2 for 2 with 2 home runs, while adding 6 RBI and scoring twice. Puebla reliever Ian Cunningham was the winner. His record is now 3-1. The losing pitcher was Enny Barragan. The Mermen are now 38-51, while the Matadors fall to 39-50.

De Alba had a game-changing home run in the top of the ninth. On a 2-2 fastball from Enny Barragan, he banged a 2-run home run to right, giving the Mermen a 12-10 lead. It was the 14th home run of the year for De Alba.

"The clubhouse can get insufferable after we lose, so I'm glad we pulled this one out today," De Alba told the Puebla Gazette.
