Almost There: Arizona On Cusp of WCS Triumph After 4-3 Win
The Arizona Diamondbacks moved to within one game of the Division Championship Series, downing the visiting San Francisco Giants at Chase Field by a score of 4-3. Diamondbacks right fielder Ben Howell did some major damage. He was 3 for 4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. The win gives the Diamondbacks a 3-1 advantage in the best-of-7 Wild Card Series.

With the game tied, 2-2, in the bottom of the fifth, Howell had a key at-bat for Arizona. With a runner on 3rd, Howell hit a 2-run home run off Stan Davidson, making the score 4-2, Diamondbacks.

"I'll probably toss and turn tonight," San Francisco manager Miles Waterbury said, following the tough loss.

Game 5 is scheduled for Monday at Oracle Park.
