Stampede Hammered by Feng, Drop Game 4 to Black Diamonds
|
The Lethbridge Black Diamonds knotted up the Regional Championship Series at Ballpark of Medicine Hat, thanks in large part to left fielder Maozhen Feng. Feng was 4 for 5 with a home run and 3 singles, while scoring 2 runs as he overpowered the Medicine Hat Stampede, enabling Lethbridge to grab the 4-3 win and move into a 2-2 tie in the best-of-7 series.
Sam Fuller's at-bat in the top of the third inning was a big one for Lethbridge. Coming to bat with one out, runners on 1st and 2nd and Lethbridge trailing 3-1, the right fielder hit a run-scoring single.
Lethbridge manager Jasper Arias called it "a darn good win."
The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Ballpark of Medicine Hat in Medicine Hat.
